Children of Time
Review
This is the third Tchaikovsky book I've read and I finally had to dig in and find out more about his education, and sure enough, now I understand why his description of how animals works is so detailed. Zoology will do that to you. What I loved most about this book was the dual narrative. I just found it so compelling. I love how wrong things go and how many different things are working against each other in this.
I am going to call this Biological Sci-Fi, and though I loved the intensity of the biology in Alien Clay, this was fun because of the setup of watching the accelerated evolution. I also loved the ants, and how different they were, and how that played out.
I really don't have anything negative to say about this book. Loved it from start to finish.
