Book Review
Binti - The Night Masquerade
This book was much longer than the first two and really did a great job bringing the story to a close. I loved how we learn early on in the first two books that she is a master harmonizer and that in the third book, it's really put to the test. The emotional rollercoaster was well crafted, and I felt the sacrifices for the end really worked. I also love a good story where you are left with questions on how things are going to work even though the plot is resolved.
I do not say this lightly, Nnedi Okorafor really is a great story teller and when so much Sci-Fi just scratches the surface, this pushes into and builds a full world. I know I mention culture often, but it deserves repeating. I am so tired of the same old sci-fi premises that show up over and over and this was not that. I actually hope this isn't the last of this universe we get to see because there was so much more I wanted to learn about.
