Book three was interesting because it took us to America, a direction I wasn’t expecting the story to go. The book was very consistent in the style of writing as the other two, and I really enjoyed moving into underground as a whole different environment to deal with.
There was a lot of interesting details about mine work I wasn’t aware of and it was interesting to see how those elements played into the story. The only thing I will say is when I got to the end of the story, I was sad there wasn’t a fourth, because I really want to keep reading these fun tales.
I talked with someone who is very well aquatinted with Kingfisher and a fourth book is possible, just waiting to see if it gets picked up. I so hope this happens.
