Anyone into writing knows this book is a CLASSIC. Written originally by Strunk in around 1919 it has been updated a few times (50s and 70s) to try and bring it forward. The book cuts straight to the point, has subtle humor, and tells you about some things you won’t need anymore like when to hyphenate or how to spell. Still, you read the sections anyways for that subtle wit that you cannot help but enjoy.
I also found it funny the words the author was so against that have become commonplace in our language, like prioritize.
But, even with these oddities of the past, the guidance on writing is stellar, and one would do themselves a favor to absorb it all. I find myself following the guidance often in breaking myself of wordy weak sentences.
