What made this book on writing interesting is it was written for people who have already been writing, and this is about making that writing better. In addition, she has a lot of exercises that you can use alone or with a group to really hone in on whatever concept she is teaching in that chapter. At the end of the day, the book is about being a better writer, and understanding not just the popular way of doing things, but also understanding the nuances of other ways you should consider. The other nice part is the examples she gives to illustrate the points.
I will ALWAYS recommend this book now to people who’ve been writing because Le Guin really approaches everything she used to teach here in a way that is super accessible.
