Book Review: Rogue Protocol

Novela 3 of the Murderbot series.  While the action was really good in this one, the story does feel a bit repetitious with the sec bot having to help a bunch of humans he doesn’t really want to help as he goes for more information.  Now, that being said, the stakes and integration of everything going on, especially what the sec bot has to figure out is much more interesting than book 2.  The really interesting thing is I felt really bad about what happened to Miki, and I thought that was written really well.  I also liked the confusion that that “Ren” (murderbot) feels about Miki.  He knows he is not supposed to care about bots because bots don’t trust bots, but his recognition of Miki’s owner Abene’s response, it seemed like he was picking up on human things more and more.  I also cannot get enough of him trying to relate everything to sanctuary moon.  I think my worry about the repetitious part of the story is I am hoping we don’t just see this over and over again as we go one.  But, I cannot wait to see what GreyCris.
