Whew, book two of Nexus series came out swinging. I have to honestly say, I liked this book even more than the first one, and that’s saying something, cause usually the first book tends to be my favorite because it’s all new.
Why I say this I because of the use of Nexus for autism in the story, and having such a remarkable technology looked at in ways that could provide a means for communication beyond traditional methods. This was beautiful, and the push back from the expected characters really made you consider how much bigger technology is for those who might be suffering from something you don’t understand, so you can’t appreciate what their life might be like having what the technology provides.
Like book one, the end of this book just has so much energy and keeping you on the edge of your seat, it’s pretty phenomenal. This is a series I will be recommending to people that love hard sci-fi.
